In the following, we inform you about how personal data is collected when using our website. Personal data is all data that refers to you personally, such as your name, address, email addresses, user behaviour.
When you contact us by email or via a contact form, we will retain the data that you explicitly provide (such as your email address, your name and your phone number, where applicable) in order to respond to your queries. We will delete the data entrusted to us in this regard once we are no longer required to retain the data, or will restrict processing if statutory retention obligations are in place. The legal basis for this is Art. 6(1)(1)(f) of the EU GDPR or, if used to fulfil a contract or to take pre-contractual measures, Art. 6(1)(1)(b) of the EU GDPR.
If we rely on commissioned third parties for individual features of our offering or we would like to use your data for advertising purposes, we will inform you in detail about the relevant processes below. In doing so, we will also specify the defined storage period criteria.
Regarding your personal data, you are entitled to the following rights from us:
You are also entitled to register a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority about our processing of your personal data.
If you are using our website purely for informative purposes, i.e. if you choose not to register or you otherwise provide us with information, we will only collect the personal data that your browser transfers to our server. If you would like to view our website, we will collect the following data, which we need for technical reasons, in order to allow you access to our website and to ensure that it is robust and secure (the legal basis for this is Art. 6(1)(1)(f) of the EU GDPR):
In addition to the aforementioned data, cookies may be stored on your computer when you use our website. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your hard drive, assigned to the browser that you are using, and which allow certain information to flow to the location that sets the cookie. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. They are used to make the website more user-friendly and more efficient overall.
Using cookies:
This website uses the following types of cookies, the scope and functionalities of which will be explained in the following:
a) Transient cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser. These include session cookies in particular. These cookies store a "session ID", which is used to assign various requests from your browser to the joint session. This allows your computer to be identified again when you return to our website. Session cookies are deleted when you log out or close your browser.
b) Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a specified period, which may differ depending on the cookie. You can always delete cookies in your browser security settings.
You can configure your browser settings according to your requirements and, for example, decline the acceptance of third party cookies or all cookies. We will point out that you may not be able to use all of this website’s functions.
In addition to the option of using our website for purely informative purposes, we provide a variety of services that you can use in line with your interests. To do so, you normally need to specify additional personal data, which we use to deliver the relevant service and to which the aforementioned data processing principles apply.
We sometimes use external service providers to process your data. These providers have been carefully selected by us, are bound by our policies, and are monitored on a regular basis.
Furthermore, we are able to hand your personal data over to third parties if we deliver campaign events, conclude contracts or deliver similar services together with our partners.
If our service providers or partners are resident in a country outside of the European Economic Area (EEA), we will inform you about the consequences of this circumstance in the description of the offer.
If you wish to order via our web shop, it is essential that you register a customer account, provide the personal data that is necessary to conclude the contract, and which we need to process your order. We will process the data that you provide in order to complete your order. As part of this process, we are able to pass your payment details on to our principal banks. The legal basis for this is Art. 6(1)(b) of the EU GDPR.
As a result of commercial and fiscal legal requirements, we are obliged to retain details of your address, payment details and order details for a period of 10 years. However, after four years, we will restrict how your data is processed, meaning that your data will only be used to comply with legal obligations.
The data is transmitted in an encrypted format in order to prevent third parties having unauthorised access to your personal data, financial data in particular. Nevertheless, we will expressly point out that the transfer of data via the Internet (e.g. when communicating by email) is vulnerable from a security point of view and cannot be completely protected against access by third parties.
You can revoke your consent to your data being processed at any time. If you revoke your consent in this way, this will have an influence on the legitimate processing of your personal data once you have notified us that you wish to revoke your consent.
You can file an objection to your data being processed if we base the processing of your personal data on the balance of interests. This is the case, in particular, if we do not need to process your data in order to fulfil a contract with you, which we will always set out in the subsequent description of the features. In exercising opposition of this kind, we will ask for an explanation of the reasons why we are not to process your personal data. If your opposition is justified, we will assess the situation and will either stop processing your data, or adjust the way in which it is processed, or will point out to you our compelling legitimate grounds on the basis of which we will continue to process your data.
Of course, you can object to your personal data being processed for the purposes of advertising and data analysis at any time. Send an email to the following address to unsubscribe from advertising messages: info@brwtools.hu.
With your consent, you can subscribe to our newsletter, which we use to inform you about our current product lines that may be of interest to you. The advertised goods and services are stated in the declaration of consent.
We adopt what is known as the "double opt-in" process when registering for our newsletter. This means that once you have registered, we will send an email to your specified email address in which we ask you to confirm that you wish to receive the newsletter. If you do not confirm your registration within 24 hours, your information will be disabled and automatically deleted after one month. We also retain the relevant IP addresses used by you, as well as the dates of registration and confirmation. The purpose of this process is to prove that you have registered and, if applicable, to be able to resolve potential abuse of your personal data.
You only need to provide your email address to allow the newsletter to be sent. The input of other separately flagged data is voluntary and will be used in order to address you personally. Once you have provided your confirmation, we will store your email address for the purposes of sending the newsletter. The legal basis for this is Art. 6(1)(1)(a) of the EU GDPR.
You can unsubscribe to the newsletter and revoke your consent to the newsletter being sent at any time. To revoke your consent, click on the link provided in each newsletter email, by emailing info@brw-tools.de or by notifying the point of contact specified in the legal notice.

Using Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Usage includes "Universal Analytics" mode. As a result, it is possible to assign data, sessions and interactions across multiple devices to a pseudonymous user ID and thus to analyse the activities of a user across multiple devices. Google Analytics uses "cookies"; text files that are stored on your computer and that allow your website usage to be analysed. The information about your website usage generated by the cookie is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA, where it will be stored. Where IP anonymisation has been activated on this website, your IP address will be abbreviated in advance by Google within the Member States of the European Union or in other Contracting States to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA, where it will be abbreviated. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate how you use the website, to compile reports about website activities, and to deliver other services associated with website and Internet usage to the operator of the website.
The IP address transmitted from your browser as part of the Google Analytics process will not be merged with any other Google data. The data we send and the data linked to cookies, user identifications (such as user ID) or advertising IDs is automatically deleted after 14 months. Data for which the relevant retention period has elapsed is automatically deleted once a month.
You can prevent cookies from being stored by adjusting a corresponding setting in your browser software; however if you do so, we must also point out that you will not be able to use all features of this website to their fullest extent. You can also prevent the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) from being collected and processed by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in that is available under the following link:

If the data collected about you contains a reference to you as an individual, this reference will immediately be eliminated and the personal data immediately deleted.
We use Google Analytics to be able to analyse and regularly improve how our website is used.
We can use the statistics we obtain to improve our offering and to make it more interesting for you as a user. In exceptional cases whereby personal data is transferred to the USA, Google is subject to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.
